An interview with Susan Kimberly, a white transwoman from St. Paul, Minnesota. In this oral history interview, she discusses her childhood and early life, her time in the Peace Corps, her transition, her experiences with the University of Minnesota’s Program in Human Sexuality, her entry into St. Paul politics culminating in her time as Deputy Mayor under Norm Coleman, her involvement in local LGBT activism, her relationships and how her transition impacted them, and her thoughts on the future.
