In this oral history, he recounts early childhood experiences of gender awareness; the complexities surrounding language and coming out prior to a lot of awareness about transgender people; challenges in his earlier stages of transition; the complexities of passing, and his perspectives on transphobia within lesbian, gay, and bisexual communities.
