Soldiers Concert Party (1914-1918)

A group of actors, some in drag, perform a World War I era show. Entertainment; World War One. Military show. Pan across group of actors: A soldier with a bunch of clowns and a guy in drag in a short dancer's dress and a striped cape; also another one in black face and drag -- changing race and sex all at once. They are all leaning together and goofing off; a clown grabbing the soldier's helmet and putting it on; etc. - looks like a curtain call. Then a shot of this wacky troupe prancing off stage through a door with words above 'Artistes Entrance'; where a man in civilian suit sees them off. Comedy; theatre; actors; costumes; funny.
