Digital Transgender Archive
A second interview with Roxanne Anderson, a Black gender non-conforming masculine of center person. At the time of this interview, they were the Director of Trans & Racial Justice at the organization OutFront Minnesota. This is the second of two interviews the Tretter Collections hold with Roxanne Anderson. In this oral history Anderson speaks at length about growing up in Indiana, racial profiling, racism, ball culture in Minnesota, and their involvement with queer-centered organizations. They also touch upon their experiences with a public hearing through the Minnesota Department of Education.
